The Flashing Fans are a melee weapon exclusive to the Bad Seed DLC. They repel most projectiles their attacks comes into contact with.

  • • A melee weapon that has a similar function to a shield, in that it can reflect enemy projectiles that it hits when attacking.
    • Upon reflecting a projectile, it will deal critical damage for a few seconds.

Notes

• This weapon works similarly to the Shovel. However, unlike the Shovel it can deflect all projectiles, rather than just bombs.
• This weapon is also able to reflect the player’s own bombs and other thrown projectiles, these will not activate its critical condition however.

Trivia

• The flavor text is a quote from Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars - A New Hope and it references the fact that lightsabers from the Star Wars universe are also able to deflect projectiles.
