Trivia

• In earlier stages of the development of The Baguette Update, this weapon was named Scavenger, which was a direct translation of the original French name for this weapon, Charognarde.
  • The mistranslation is still present on the steam trade card.
• In the front cover image of physical copies of the game, a Frantic Sword can be seen next to the right hand of the Beheaded.
• The modifier "1% HP recovered per melee attack, up to 50%" is exclusive to this weapon.

History

1.5: Now inflicts critical hits when under 50% HP or have at least 50% Malaise. 2.1: Scaling changed from Brutality/ Tactics to Brutality. 3.0: Reduced crit DMG of the fifth hit, added an inversely proportional scaling to the crit DMG and added a Legendary Affix. Reduced Base DPS from 137 (285) to 137 (277). Reduced Base DMG of the fifth hit from 70 (182) to 70 (168). Crit multiplier is now inversely proportional to your life (when at or under 50% max life). Added the Legendary Affix "Heal Mid Life".
