Strategy
Primary attacks
How to defend against attacks.
Forward stab, Forward lower stab, Two handed Forward stab and Slash
- These are basic one hit attacks that can be easily dodged by rolling through or out of reach, jumping over them or be parried.
- Can be chained in quick succession in random order and amount.
- Can be done right after the queen moves towards or away from the player.
Reality rend
- Wait until a blue line appears and move out of it by walking or jumping. Do this for each line.
- Gets harder for reality rend X10 but still possible with minimum movement and luck.
- For reality rend maximum just wait and roll as it's simply one attack with an enormous range.
- Gets harder for reality rend X10 but still possible with minimum movement and luck.
- This is a great time to bring out any pets or turrets as she will be immobile and defenceless during this attack.
- Ranged and melee attacking can be done as well but is riskier.
Fire tornado
- Roll behind the queen as she will fire the tornado in front of her.
- Tornado can be rolled through and even parried.
Fire wave
- Can be rolled through but safest option is to jump over it.
Fire sword
- Can be easily dodged by rolling or parrying.
Fire stab
- Can be easily dodged by rolling through or behind her, jumping over the attack or be parried.
Grab and throw
- Move out of her grasps range.
Vulnerabilities
Weapons and skill that move you quickly or give invincibility frames will help you from taking too much damage. Her attacks have a long range but are slow enough to be avoided by dodging or having invincibility frames (Meat Skewer, Assault Shield, Force Shield, Telluric Shock, ect...).
Weapons/Skills
- The and will move you out of the way of most of her attacks before they reach you or give you a long parry time, allowing you to continuously attack with little risk of damage.
- is an easy way to get behind her when she does almost all of her attacks.
- Turrets can be used for damage and even distraction as she can take time to destroy them opening her for free attacks.
- Most attacks are close range and rely on her abilty to close distance quickly. Any item that can lock her in place like or will prevent this.
- Grenades are a great option even with her ability to block them as it requires specific timings/angles.
Dialogue
First meeting
- "Here comes the interloper. After all the Malaise has done to the kingdom, you should realize that we cannot allow anything to leave the island. But I guess you're beyond reasoning now."
- "I'm sorry, but I have to stop this folly right here, right now. Know that I won't take any pleasure in killing you."
Shielding
- "Enough with this!"
- "Stop hiding!"
- "Try parrying this..."
- "Fight for real now!"
Taunts
- "Is that all you got?"
- "Hey, you left your liver here."
- "Pathetic..."
- "Run away. Now."
- "Shall I send you back?"
Queen falls in the void
- "Stop that!"
- "You'll pay for that!"
- "That was not pleasant."
- "What a clever use of your environment, you should be proud."
Premature dead
Queen reacting to first hero death before reviving him.
- "Oh no you don't!"
After Queen recovered beheaded's corpse and is about to revive him.
- "I'm not done with you."
After Queen revived the beheaded.
- "Now fight. For real, this time."
When defeated
- "I guess... the die is cast then..."
Second meeting
- "You again... so stubborn."
- "En garde!"
